Sal is the Chief Commercial Officer for First Mile Care, responsible for overseeing the direction, planning, and execution of all aspects of commercial policies, objectives, and initiatives, and will lead the commercial success for the organization. Sal brings 20 years of healthcare experience in payer contracting and network management, provider and payer relations, value-based strategies and business development. Prior to joining First Mile Care, Sal held the position of Vice President of National Contracting with behavioral health management company Beacon Health Options where he was responsible for multi-state and national provider solutions. Sal has vast knowledge as it relates to national health plans and payer strategies, having served in leadership roles with Aetna, Yale Medicine and Anthem, Inc.
